George MacDonald (1824–1905), is a well-known 19th century writer, whose books laid the foundation for the contemporary genre of fantasy and exerted an enormous influence not only on C. S. Lewis, but  also on such great masters as Charles Williams and J. R. R. Tolkien. Amy Carmichael was born in 1867, in Ireland, and died in 1951, in India, where she first came in 1895 as a missionary. Before that she tirelessly served God in Scotland, England and even in Japan, but the main work of her life was to rescue little children from physical and moral dangers of life in Indian Hindu temples. It was with this purpose that in 1901 Amy Carmichael founded the Dohnavur Fellowship,  where hundreds of helpless girls and boys found their home and came to know and love the Lord Christ. Even now, more than 100 years since its foundation, the Dohnavur Fellowship remains vibrantly alive and very active in its life and service. More >>

Adrian Plass is a writer and speaker who has produced more than twenty books in the last eighteen years.
